Why Steadfast?
I have experienced many triumphs and trials in life, but it was the trials that transformed and blessed me the most. Running to God and pouring out my frustrations to Him has created in me a deeper trust and reliance in Him. When things are rocky, I still feel anxious and afraid, but ultimately, I am able to stand firm because I am confident my Heavenly Father will never fail me.
While there are many things that I want to be as a woman of faith, being steadfast is definitely at the top of that list. Someone who is steadfast is unwavering, firm in their belief, and true to their convictions. This is a hard word to live up to, but through God’s gracious love we are all able to slowly bear this fruit more each day. Being steadfast will take time and patience, but I am praying that TSL will help you to become deeply rooted in your relationship with Him!

Hi Steadfast Sis!
I’m so happy and grateful that you are here! My name is Sammy and I am the creator of The Steadfast Life. God had placed this dream on my heart a few years ago, but it is something I put on the shelf because I never felt talented enough or well-equipped to start. I have always had a passion to share my faith through creativity and beauty, but I never had the time to pursue this because my life was dedicated to soccer.
This dream became a reality in the midst of COVID. My plans to move to Australia and attend Hillsong College were immediately changed. While this was disappointing, God used this season to open new doors. The dreams that have been sitting on a shelf for so long were able to get dusted, refined, and brought back to life. I am now able to start a new adventure with God.
My faith grew the most in college, as I searched for answers and ways to deepen my relationship with Him on my own. Ministries like this encouraged me, as the vulnerable, genuine, and biblically rooted words, artwork, and resources spoke to my heart. I am praying you would find that same connection, encouragement, and growth through TSL. May God speak to your heart through the words I write, the art I create, and the products I sell. Lastly, may we all become steadfast in our faith so that our eyes are always fixed on Jesus!
